We were delighted to be able to host a group from Torbay Rotary this week. They had asked us to speak at their meeting which was to be held in the RTYC, but we did one better than that, we invited them to come over the road to visit our boats, which they were pleased to do - and we gave them a talk on the boats!

Jane Nicholls, Mark Hingston and I were the hosts, and we broke the world speed record for the time taken to put on the bridge just ahead of the guest's arrival!

The Rotary's slogan is "others before self" and do a fantastic job of fundraising for worthy causes. I think they recognised a similar culture in the DSA when we explained the roles of all the volunteers and the experiences we offer to the disabled.
